  1. I feel that the US government is doing its citizens a disservice by not legalizing marijuana. Studies have already shown its efficacy against a number of medical illnesses from physical to psychological. This is suppose to be a land of freedom but so many freedoms are being taken away or greatly hindered by others deciding for us; rather we should be able to decide for ourselves what, when, where, how, etc. we want to treat our own bodies. Why is it the very person who is arguing against the use of marijuana, then meeting colleagues later someplace for drinks; alcohol has proven itself to be extremely dangerous but yet it is accepted and enjoyed daily as a social event? Let me decide if I want to partake in consuming marijuana, alcohol or anything else for that matter, it is my body and no one else should be able to make those decisions for me.
